Is the likable Barack Obama actually the Antichrist/Beast prophesied in the Bible and Nostradamus? Who knows? But he does fit more criteria than anyone else in American history.
1. Charismatic Speaker Worshipped By The Masses. The Book of Daniel says the Beast will arise in a country made up of diverse people from "all kingdoms" and he "shall speak great words ...and think to change times and laws." The Beast will have "understanding [of] dark sentences," "shall magnify himself in his heart," and will talk of peace "and by peace shall destroy many." Daniel 7:23-25; 8:23-25. The worldwide masses will worship the charismatic Beast/Antichrist who will have a "mouth speaking great things." Revelation 13:3-8. The charismatic Barack is conceited and a great orator who speaks of change and peace. He is worshipped throughout the world including in the European Union -- the successor to the Roman Empire. Germany's Der Spiegel magazine wrote in July 2008: "He wants to lay claim to become the president of the world."
2. False Prophets. The advent of the Antichrist will be heralded by false prophets. Jeremiah Wright, who claims to be in the prophetic tradition, compared Barack to Jesus. Loius Farrakhan called Barack "the Messiah."
3. Treated As A Religious Figure. The Bible says the Beast will substitute himself in place of God and Jesus. Oprah Winfrey called Barack "The One" who will help us evolve. Chris Matthews blasphemed that Obama "is writing the New Testament."Spike Lee said that time shall be measured Before Barack and After Barack. Obama's followers proclaim: "We are the ones we've been waiting for." When he met actor Morgan Freeman, Barack bowed and said: "This guy was God before I was."
4. 666. Revelation 13:18 says "the number of the Beast ... is the number of a man and his number is six hundred threescore and six." 6+6+6=18, the number of letters in Barack Hussein Obama, who has represented Chicago's 60606 zip code.
5. Beast Is A Hybrid From The Sea. The symbolic Beast of Revelation 13:1-2 will "rise up out of the sea" and is a hybrid of different species with "the mouth of a lion." Barack is a Leo with great speaking abilities. He is part black and part white and has both Muslim and Christian heritage. He was born on the island of Oahu surrounded by the sea.
6. The Burak In The Koran. The rider on a white horse in Revelation 6:2 is the horseman of the apocalypse considered to be the Antichrist. His "crown ... given unto him" and bow without arrows signify he will be freely chosen by the people without violence. Barack's connection to a religious white horse: In the Koran, the buraq or burak was a magical white horse that Mohammed flew upon at night from Mecca to Jerusalem, where it was tethered to the Western Wall (called Al-Buraq in Arabic). When Barack went to Jerusalem in July 2008, he paid a night visit to Al-Buraq (the Western Wall).
7. Evil Goat Connection. Throughout the Bible, sheep are associated with good and goats are associated with evil, which is why Satan is often depicted with goat horns. In Matthew 25:31-41, Jesus says that upon his return, he will separate the good sheep on his right from the evil goats on his left and shall cast the goats "into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels." Barack is the lefthanded son of a Muslim goatherder.
8. Nostradamus's Mabus Prophecy. Nostradamus's first antichrist Napaulon Ray turned out to be Napoleon, and his second antichrist Hister turned out to be Hitler. The third and final antichrist in Nostradamus's prophecy is associated with someone named Mabus, whose death will trigger massive calamity. (Century 2, Quatrain 62.) The only prominent person ever named Mabus is Ray Mabus, the former Governor of Mississippi and Bill Clinton's ambassador to Saudi Arabia. Ray Mabus is a Middle East policy adviser to Barack and campaigned for him. If Barack sends Ray Mabus on a mission to Iran where Mabus is killed and Barack retaliates, the Mabus prophecy will be fulfilled.
9. Unstoppable Rise To Power. Barack's meteoric rise to power out of nowhere has been unstoppable. Barack steamrolled over the Clinton machine, with the Democratic superdelegates unable to resist him. Hurricane Gustav delayed the start of the Republican convention. Just after McCain pulled ahead in the polls, Wall Street suddenly collapsed to ensure Barack's election.
10. 2012. According to Revelation, the Beast/Antichrist will rule for 42 months of relative peace and prosperity before all hell starts to break loose in the middle of the fourth year of his reign, culminating in the Battle of Armageddon. The fourth year of Barack's presidency will be 2012, the year the Mayan calendar comes to an end, the year of a rare planetary alignment, and a year that scholars say Nostradamus foresaw as tumultuous.
Even with all this, I still do not think he is the Anti-Christ. Does not mean he will not play a part in the "End Times" roll. So keep watching the signs. (Was subbmitted by: Ryan Adams)

Obama Wins Historic Victory
Barack Obama will be America’s 44th President after winning a decisive electoral victory over Senator John McCain. The first bi-racial individual to ascend to this office will face a daunting challenge from many areas from the first day he walks into the Oval Office. How he governs and what that will mean for America’s future is to be determined.
I suspect there are many this morning who are working through this reality. Most never thought they would see this happen in America. I am not sure it says as much about the country’s racial mood as it does about the quality of leadership in the nation. I am still struck by the lack of experience Obama has for national office. He shot like a meteor into national prominence just four years ago. No one outside of the south side of Chicago knew him before then. But now he will hold the reigns of power in the world’s most powerful, albeit hobbled, nation.
I have written an article that offers insight into the challenges he will face. I’ll get that posted to the site by tomorrow. Obama’s race will make no diffference in how he faces these issues. It will be his judgement and experience that matters. On that I am afraid he is lacking. But then again, the challenges would be daunting for anyone in that role. The qualities of leadership needed at this time come from a different source.

How Would Jesus Vote?
“But as for you who forsake the LORD and forget my holy mountain, who spread a table for Fortune and fill bowls of mixed wine for Destiny, I will destine you for the sword, and you will all bend down for the slaughter; for I called but you did not answer, I spoke but you did not listen. You did evil in my sight and chose what displeases me.” (Isaiah 65:11-12)
For most of America’s history there’s been a direct connection between patriotism and faith, probably because the US was founded as a Christian nation. We’ve always believed that God has watched over us, made us prosperous, and been on our side in the wars we’ve fought.
That connection began to unravel in the 1960’s, but it’s surprising the number of people who still believe that if seems to be good for the country, it must be right. This is true even among believers. According to recent Barna polls, 48% of those likely to vote in the coming election are born again Christians. That means they claim to have made a personal commitment to Jesus and believe they will go to heaven because they have confessed their sins and accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior.
These same polls show that nearly half of them will vote for the candidate they think has the best plan for restoring America’s reputation in the world and managing the economic battles that lie ahead, rather than the one who they think will best uphold the Biblical principles they believe. So if only half the voters are believers, and half of them plan to use worldly standards in making their choice rather than Biblical ones, it follows that only 1 in every 4 voters will be exercising any spiritual discernment at all in casting their vote.
The other 3 are using standards like peace, financial security, tolerance, choice, and so on as their guidelines. They don’t realize that only God can restore peace and security to their lives, and tolerance and choice are just nice sounding words that really stand for rebellion against Him. By not considering His standards in casting their vote, they’re guaranteeing that He won’t be helping them get what they want.
What’s At Stake Here?
In the opinion of expert observers, this election could bring about fundamental change in America. Depending on the victor, we could see the last traces of the Judeo-Christian principles that have guided us in the past disappear. Restraints on behavior that God is clearly against could be removed, and prohibitions against behavior that God desires could be imposed. Parents may no longer have the ultimate say in raising or educating their children. The relationship between effort and reward could become unrecognizable. Those with the greatest ability could wind up supporting those with the greatest need. In the name of peace we could make self defense impossible. The list goes on.
If all this comes to pass, believers will be forgiven for their lack of discernment and whisked away in the rapture before things get too bad. After all, obedience to God’s word isn’t the basis for our inclusion in the Church, it’s our belief that the Lord died to save us from our sins. But the unbelieving majority will come to understand the meaning of the Isaiah passage above more clearly than they ever dreamed possible.
Everyone in the Great Tribulation will have it rough, but I think that those who rebel as blatantly as people are being called to do in this election will have it especially bad. After all, look at the blessings they’ve enjoyed by being part of a Christian nation, and the light they’ve been shown because of our religious heritage. The Lord called but they didn’t answer. He spoke but they didn’t listen. They will have done evil in His sight by choosing what displeases Him, and He will destine them for the sword.
We know that all these things will eventually come to pass, that it’s only a matter of time. There’s no Scripture anywhere to persuade us otherwise. But it’s quite possible that in this election America will choose a course of action that will accelerate our downfall. We will have forsaken the Lord and His Holy Mountain.
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:18)
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been encouraging us all to accept a giant paradigm shift, to realize that this is not our home. I’ve been saying that we need to start thinking more about our real home and getting ready to go there. We need to distinguish between our love for our county and our love for God. As good as this country has been, it’s no where near as good as where we’re going. Like Abraham we’re looking forward to the city with foundations whose architect and builder is God (Hebrews 11:10). And the bottom line is that regardless of who wins this election, America will soon be a far different country than it has been.
So this could very well be the last presidential election we’ll ever vote in. It’s time to realize that we really don’t belong in any political party. No matter how we’ve thought of ourselves in the past, the reality is that as Christians we’re monarchists and we await our coming King. Since our fondest desire is to please Him, we should vote the way we think He would want us to. And remember, we’re not voting for someone, and we’re not voting against something, we’re voting in a way that pleases our Lord.
So, how would Jesus vote? He would vote for life, He would vote to uphold His Father’s Word, and He would make His vote count. Can we do anything less? Selah 11-01-08

A Coming American Third World Despotism?
In East Asia, South America, and Africa third world despots run kleptocracies and routinely use government to harass, bully, and intimidate their opponents. It is a standard Marxist practice of Robert Mugabe, Hugo Chavez, Karimov of Uzbekistan and their ilk.
Should the American public elect Barack Obama President, we are already getting a glimpse of what his administration would be like.In Missouri, Democrat party officials who also serve as prosecutors and sheriffs have threatened to arrest and try any person who “misrepresents” Barack Obama. Thus far there have been no arrests or prosecutions relating to people innocently mentioning an email that suggested Obama is a closet Muslim. Thus far.
In Ohio, Joe Wurzelbacher a/k/a Joe the Plumber happened to be standing in his front yard one morning when Barack Obama decided on an impromptu photo op. There in the plumber’s yard the fairy tale “The Emperor’s New Clothes” sprang to life. Barack Obama told Joe the Obama administration would “spread the wealth around.” Like the child pointing out the emperor’s nakedness, Joe pointed out Obama’s socialism and it clicked with people.
Naturally, Joe had to be destroyed. The Ohio press is reporting Democrat officials improperly accessed government data about Joe the Plumber in order to smear him on behalf of the Obama campaign. (Thankfully, because the rule of law still exists in Ohio, the person who improperly searched government data may, according to reports yesterday, be prosecuted.) But Joe’s DMV records were looked at, his tax records were looked at, and his child support records were looked at. None of the looking was legal, but it did not matter. Joe became a threat that had to be destroyed.
Also in Ohio, student reporters for a collegiate news service are getting harassed by Barack Obama’s legal team. The reporters discovered wholesale voter fraud in Ohio, documented it, and reported it. Next thing they knew. Barack Obama’s lawyers decided to threaten them and suggested the students would have their voter registrations questioned if they did not stop.In Northern Virginia, an enclave of Republicans had their neighborhood savaged by thugs.
People who had McCain-Palin signs in their yards found foul language spray painted on their houses. The neighborhood signage was ruined. It is all part of a third-world despot vibe that runs through the Obama campaign. The violence is more at home in Robert Mugabe’s paradise of hyper-inflation than the United States. In Georgia, a young man named Zach Johnson became worried by the lack of police preparation for what could happen if Barack Obama won or lost. He sent an email to members of the Macon, Georgia city council from his work email address. He happens to work for a Georgia state senator.
Zach made sure everyone knew it was his own opinion. In fact, his boss had been in Beijing, China and knew nothing about the email. Nonetheless, Democrats in Georgia immediately began throwing out the race card, suggesting Zach and his boss were participating in an effort of fear and intimidation against black voters.
The Senate Minority Leader seems intent on demanding Zach’s job for asking a question many other people are asking -- will there be riotous celebrations or anger depending on what happens to Obama on election night.Michael Barone suggested we are witnessing the rise of Obama’s thugocracy. He is most likely right. The damage the Obama campaign is inflicting on innocent people who merely question the candidate will be nothing compared to what Obama does if he grasps the reins of power.
